Inspirational Teacher of the Year Award

The Okonofua Foundation, as part of its efforts to support child-centered education, has an articulate program to motivate teachers to do more for their students. On 12 September 2019, the Foundation will recognize and reward about 60 outstanding teachers in Edo State during the annual Edo State Teacher Awards. Teachers will be recognized across 20 categories with each category presenting three nominees, one of which will receive the award for best teacher/school administrator in that category. The runners up will also be recognized. This year, the Foundation will select the Inspirational Teacher of the Year from nominations received from the public through our website, social media handles (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram), and our partner media network, the KUFM Benin. If you have been inspired by a teacher in Edo State, please enter a nomination for that teacher to receive the award. The teacher with the highest nomination will receive the award. Good luck!
